JOHNNY SANSONE

Born into a musical family in Orange NJ. Johnny’s music education began at home. His musical journey led to studying harmonica under legendary Bluesmen James Cotton and Jr. Wells to being the featured harmonica player in the top Blues bands led by Ronnie Earl, John Lee Hooker, Jimmy Rogers, and Robert Jr Lockwood. Johnny Sansone is a multi-instrumentalist. His harmonica playing is considered world-class, and he is often mentioned in the same class as Charlie Musslewhite and Fabulous Thunderbirds Kim Wislon.
